I've been looking for an entry level Jazz bass like a Squire VM and I stumbled on a 95-96 MIM Fender Jazz for $300 CDN. Whats the quality of these basses like? Are they any better than a newer VM?

I got the ETA of my MB115 today. According the to Canadian Distributor, Yorkville, they won't be seeing any more until the end of June! Arg.
