    cause the ampeg 8x8s are pretty rare and id rather keep it in good condition. gigging regularly will strip the tolex off my cabs within a year heh.

    i see that they have a REALLY low resale value. mixed reviews online. apparently it weighs about 125 lbs. EH i thought i was catching a gem like the 8x8 i got for 200 bucks....

    you can get a pretty powerful acoustic or GK head for that much. it wouldNT sound amazing or anything but it will move some air with the right cab
