Seeking Amp Cover

I have purchased covers from both of those companies, as well as from studioslips.com. They are all excellent companies.

If you have to do your own measurements, it is a little tricky. They tell you to measure precisely - not to "add a little". But most cabinets have slightly rounded edges. so, use a big square and whatever other tools you might need.

Yeah, I'm going to avoid making my own measurements because that just never works for me. Strangely enough, there are Cos I've found today that claim to have the actual cover in stock. I view this w/caution, given that most Cos don't have BBB or other assurances. Fly By Night (Rush), eh? Who knows.

Yes, these companies have done lots of the homework for us. But they can't and don't have specs for every imaginable product. So, you may have to do your own measuring. There's nothing wrong with this. Just take your time, and be as accurate as you can.

This is my first time seeking a relatively scarce bass-product.

So I especially appreciate the tips.

Once again, I've done business with all three companies mentioned. I went to their web sites for info, then called to ask questions and order. I received very good one-on-one treatment. LeCover has an order form you can download that has "fill in the blanks" for measurements.

All of these companies also have a listing of currently available covers on their web sites.

+1 for Tukicovers.com.;)

Yeah! I checked out their website and they take the craft of cover-making extremely seriously.

Weird: Two UK Cos (legit) have the exact cover, but selling over $130 w/shipping, so, well.... Might as well pump some bucks into our sicko economy, I reckon.

I'm grateful for the thumbs-up for Tuki. It's a jungle out there. Who would've thunk it...for amp covers?! :hmm:

Well, it's obvious then, b/c you've got the experience and I've got none such....

I'll get quotes from those three Cos. Thank you very much for bothering to answer my amp-cover Q. I mean, y'all could be chatting with the kids about the latest vintage modified Squier and chuckling to yourselves :smug::)

I do business here. Husband & wife team, real nice people. Good pricing, good service, good product.

Y'all are too kind: So many responses...I'm touched (in the head--I'm a shrink :D, nah, I'm alright still....). Really cool how total strangers offer advice b/c, I kid you not: Even the obscure biz of amp-cover crafting is festering with sharks.

Happy Holidays!

I had them make a cover for my Carvin BRX10.4 neo cab and with shipping and all it came to $90. Not bad and the cover is very, very nice. I highly recommend them when it comes to covers you need for your amp or cabs.;)
