    Good pre-amp for DB-90 Dr. Beat Metronome?

    My drummer has the DB-90 dr. beat metronome but loses it because he has no volume control. Any suggestions on a cheap pre-amp so we can play on time? Its getting real frustrating chasing his bpm. thanks for any advice.

    Got this fender J MIM and stuck with it until i get back on my feet financially. Any suggestions on pickups that will give it some life? I play through an SVT-CL mainly rock/alternative.
