Something you dont see every day...A pre 75 Greco Jazz bass with on board pre amp...How do i know it's pre 76...cos Greco guitars/basses pre 75 had the logo spellt "Gneco" instead of Greco.... I thought Musicman was the first with an on board pre amp, correct me if I'm wrong... Cool looking...

Hey all. I've located a 72 jazz bass for sale in Japan. Here's what I know about it. Body is original as are the electronics and bridge. At some point in time someone has changed the control knobs to chrome ones . The neck as far as I can tell is not an original fender but the tunings pegs...

And sold to me!!

I'll contact the seller and try and get him to open it up to have a look see!!!! It could also be a case of the lighting when it was photographed, camera used etc etc etc... has me intrigued though will have to find out now.. On another note I found two others in japan going for way...

Hi all. Can someone steer me in the direction where I can find info on paint finishes for a 1978 Musicman stingray. I'm looking at a 1978 ray for sale in Japan. It appears to be a color very similar to the Dargie delight color although with serious mojo. I can't tell from the pics if it has...

I'm currently considering buying a Fender 60 re issue jazz bass. I was looking at the current Fender custom shop 60 re issues and can pick one up as low as $2300 brand new.... However, I have seen a post here from a member selling an 83 Fullerton re issue 60 Jazz bass in very good...

Can anyone help with a tab for Talking Heads, "Life During Wartime" Cant find a decent (or any for that fact) tab anywhere online...Dont think it would be a hard song to learn but I cant work it out by ear.....
