If I had to just pick one, it would be the 210. It's a little louder on its own and taller, which I like. I still prefer 2x10 and 1x12 together. Yes the 2x10 is a bit more dominant, but they really blend well and the 1x12 adds something special to the lower tones.

I'm still really happy with the 210+112 combo. I generally bring the 210 to practice as it's a bit easier to hear by itself without needing a stand. The 112 is easier for one handed carry with the handle being at the top / back. The 210 isn't heavy but the handles on the side make single hand...

I think by 'chewier' I mean the 112 is just the _slightest bit_ grittier in the low mids when the speaker is pushed. Not enough to notice unless you're really listening for it. Not really sure why I reached for that word in particular, it was just what came to mind at the time. :laugh:

Yeah, I don't really plan on keeping the 112 if I decide to upgrade to 2x 15s. I'm just not sure if what I'm hearing now (that I like) is due to the added 12, the amp running at 4 ohms, the extra height or something else.

My concern has nothing to do with mixing 12s and 15s. How about I ask this way - has anyone moved from the Fender Rumble 200 combo to the 200 head and 115 cab? How does the tone differ?

Fender designed Rumble v3 112 extension cab to pair with the v3 200 combo and they sound fantastic together. I would agree generally that mixing 15s and 12s isn't the best idea, however this isn't my concern here. I believe the 115 extension cab came out later. I suppose I could make a guess...
