    He is just boosting the input gain, this is not the right way. I had some troubles with ebs microbass and hot pickups. Signal distortion was realy bad on recorded tracks.

    After long time with Sansamp PSA-1 I switched to EBS Metaldrive, no lowend loss and more dynamics. Good results using it in front or loop with blend control
