Yeah, I dunno. But its a mystery that will never be solved, least not by me. I sold that cab about a year ago.

I bought it new from a place in Perth, Australia. At least they told me it was and it looked the part, had the price tag to match too... Might have been a warranty return or something ?

Never had any problems with it at all. I sold it on when I got my PH4x12. Didnt realise it was unusual at the time, so never contacted Mesa about it.

Does anyone know more about the pick ups in the RB Corvettes ? I've got a German passive 'vette and looking to upgrade to Active. Was thinking about getting a RB as they are cheaper than a set of Pickups !

Hey thats a pretty cool rig. I went from having 1 PH2x12 in the past and am now using a PH4x12. I found the mids and highs on the 2x12 were a bit too much and upon closer inspection the drivers in my 2x12's were different! The upper driver had a mesh dome/dust cap and an aluminium...

The 12's that are in the mesa are actually different, one of them has an aluminium bullet under the dust cap which is mesh, while the other is standard. Due to this its really bright, so getting another one would just give more. I'm not sure of the driver config in the mesa 4x12, but imagine...

Hey Guys, Recently got a Mesa 2x12 to go with my SVT2pro. All cool, but i want more bottom end. I bought a cheapy 1x15 cab with an Eminence Delta and while it sounds ok solo it just isnt loud enough when both cabs are plugged in. Suggestions ? I'm thinking an Ampeg 410HLF would work well...

EMG actually makes a set of pick ups that are made for the MIM's with the same size pickups, called the EMG MJ. Not sure what they sound like tho...
