Behringer Bass V-AMP Pro - Part II: Get On Back, Jack, Do It Again...

Not really an fx unit, but I use a Hartke Bass Attack for tone shaping.

Behringer Bass V-AMP Pro - Part II: Get On Back, Jack, Do It Again...

I just picked up a bean unit for studio work, so I don't have to lug my live rack, just because it's got the v-amp in it. Now I've just gotta build studio tones that will match my live tones.

And the person who originally wrote in German didn't even use the thing, they just looked at the engineers notes and took a stab in the dark as to how it worked...

Step one, throw those away, unless you want to keep them for records or something...lol. All they will do is confuse and frustrate you. Refer to this thread, and the startup guide on Part I on how to use it, unless you have enough hair to pull half of it out and not be noticeable :P

If you didn't reset it, it could be that one of the distortion pedals is activated from the previous owner perhaps. I think the 2nd one is fuzz, which could be a culprit.

Behringer Bass V-AMP Pro - Part II: Get On Back, Jack, Do It Again...

sweet! Just snagged a v-amp bean unit with the add-on foot pedal for $55! Now I won't have to lug my whole rack in to the studio

The only place I've tried using it by itself is at the studio, but of course there's a lot of other stuff plugged in. It was supposed to be a dedicated outlet though. The headphones were studio monitors, not connected directly to the v-amp

Behringer Bass V-AMP Pro - Part II: Get On Back, Jack, Do It Again...

My biggest issue is a constant hum. I haven't been able to isolate where it is coming from. I've got a rack with a few components, and a hartke bass attack pedal. I've tried turning off ground loops, but still have it. I used just the V-Amp unit in the studio, and still had a slight hum...

Behringer Bass V-AMP Pro - Part II: Get On Back, Jack, Do It Again...

Awesome. You won't be disappointed. Before you start figuring out how to get everything to do what you want, it's a kinda cool piece of gear. Once you figure it out, it's invaluable. The only thing I wish was different is if there was less delay between switching tones. I know most bass...

Behringer Bass V-AMP Pro - Part II: Get On Back, Jack, Do It Again...

Sounds fairly similar to my setup. I'm using a Carvin BX1200 though, but looking up the R1000, it looks fairly similar in most aspects. I run my bass direct into the V-Amp, with it on L3, full range into the Carvin, and then use the Carvin's X-Cver bi-amp, running a Hartke 410 for hi freq...

Behringer Bass V-AMP Pro - Part II: Get On Back, Jack, Do It Again...

I bought mine used about 2 years ago, and use it at least 3-4 times a week (at least 10-15 hours of use a week) if not more, and I've yet to have an issue with the battery.

Who Has a Bass No One Else on this Board Has?? (Part 3)

I think I have a case that will fit it. I guess you can send your bass to me, and I'll send you one that will fit your case, that would be the best thing I think...

    bently 5 string fretless

Where did you find this? I've got 3 Bentlys that I'd love to find out more about. I got one, loved it, and had been looking for more ever since.

What Can You Tell Me About This Bass? (MIJ Content, I Think)

I wouldn't discount Bently basses in the least... I've got 3, and I've had nothing but raving remarks about my tone. The pickups are passive, but super hot, to the point where I've had several people ask if it was active. This one looks different than mine though, this almost looks like...

    FS - Bently 4 Banger - Cheap!

Huh, a Bently with more of a p-bass look. I've got 3 Bentlys, I can't say about this model, but I LOVE mine! I found a 5 string fretless, never heard of the brand before, but bought it, and have been looking for more ever since. I picked up a 4 string (different style than this) that needed...
