The truss rod is stripped. For clarification I ment totalled as in I could probably sell this bass for about $700 knowing carvins horrible resale value. I'm keeping this bass for life. Just wondering how much estimates are going to be. I'm taking it to two "guitar hospitals".

Every now and then the bass doesnt produce an output signal. I have to either hold the bass a certain way or push on the battery cartridge on the back and it might work. Think it has something to do with how the batteries or being held or could it be a further mechanical error? Also the truss...

Why would a cancellation of frequencies result from mismatched speakers? The reason I was drooling over this set up was because of the range I could get with this configuration and my 6 string.

What do you mean the cabs are mismatched?

I was thinking about an swr workingman. I want something really versatile though. Also looking at carvin bx500s.

This will be my first legit bass rig and i'm not quite sure what kind of head to get. I have an Eden 115 cab that can handle 200w and 8ohm, an eden 210t cab that can handle 250w at 8ohms, an active 6 string bass, and a hip hop band that consists of a rapper, drummer, and myself.
