I would like a number please...My natural LB70 was my #1 bass from 1992 to 2009. Last year I built my white B4 from a kit and it has taken the #1 spot. Also have been using Carvin amps exclusively and owned/still own Carvin guitars.

Is it possible without running into intonation issues? What I mean is, can you replace a regular Fender style bolt on neck with a shorter one to create a 30" scale bass without having to move the bridge, etc.? I would consider doing this with my Squier P-bass Special if it is as simple as...

I second the suggestions for Carvin. I have trigger finger condition that limits the use of both of my hands, so action and playability were my concerns when choosing a bass. Both my LB70 and B4 models practically play themselves! I don't think you will be disappointed with Carvin's tones...
