Well guys I sold my Sb5000 and now only gigging with my '95 BB75. The Sb5000 was nice but heavy after long gigs on the side where my cancer was. But the BB75 it sounding real nice with the Bart's pickup. If they ever make a lighter SB5000 I'll will replace it.
OH well. :(

What Barts did you put in her? Are you still using the Carvin pre or did you swap that as well?

Guys, I saw several posts regarding to bridge string spacing here, but I have to ask just in case...
Does anybody know any Carvin 6-stringer with 19-20 mm spacing ? Or which one is the widest at least ?

Carvin 6 strings bass have 17mm strings spacing. They don,t offert any option for a wider neck on their 6 strings while they have a wide neck option on their 5 strings.

Nice. Here's my Trifecta:

'08 ICON 4 P, Deep triplestep Dragonburst, Flametop, matching head, black hardware

Wow - that dragonburst finish is something else!

I would like to join, please! I am currently awaiting the birth of my Icon4 (10/25/10!)...I recently purchased a 1987 V440T, and am also working on a super-evil addition to the Carvin clan (don't want to jinx it!). :ninja:

And to LowEndBlues...I want to see the backside of that Dragonburst!

Thanks!

nice to see that people are still enjoying their carvins. I love the hell outta my Icon now that I replaced the soaps with the new J9a's.
Hey IconBasser - do you play in the area? I used to (till a couple of months ago) played on one of the Teams at CBC ..(Big church 19th /Beryl) Used my LB75 almost every time! Of course when we did the cover of "Come Togther" (Beatles) I had to bring out my little Hoffner! :D

I've staring at my BB75's fretboard half the day, because I'm working from home and it's right next to me. The other half of the day I've been playing it ;)

It's tough to capture just how awesome the fretboard is with my camera, but here's a shot anyway. So, some fretboard pics because "why not" :)

I'm getting much more gas for a new Carvin that I imagine few month ago.

A nice LB70 in purple over quilt maple top and heandstock, ebony fretboard, chrome hardware, no dots and and hipshop d-tuner to go along my purple LB76 fretless

I would like a number please...My natural LB70 was my #1 bass from 1992 to 2009. Last year I built my white B4 from a kit and it has taken the #1 spot. Also have been using Carvin amps exclusively and owned/still own Carvin guitars.
