Do check the manual…. It shows how to both set the Global output and individual presets. I evened out the presets then adjusted overall volume to match the bypassed output volume.

I just recently acquired this beautiful Euro RST. I love the figuring in the maple which I consider to be more of a quilt than flame. With 4 cervical neck fusions & lumbar issues, this bass is a dream @ 7.4lbs!!! The sustain & tone certainly doesn’t suffer due to any lack of weight.

The top is called snakewood. She’s #49 of 150 special addition for 2022. A roasted maple neck & roasted, chambered ash body (weighs under 8lbs). Also the first Sadowsky release w/ a MM pickup.

I've added the VTC to my Metro Express & I agree that it's a big improvement. I also wanted to give my RSD headstock a face lift, so I removed the old logo & replaced with a Sadowsky water slide followed by a few coats of Minwax satin lacquer. Glad to see they worked that detail out for the 2023...

I've recently acquired my first 2 Sadowskys. Today, I upgraded the Metro Express w/ a VTC retrofit kit. I'm enjoying the single coils tone & the passive tone control takes her to the next level!

My Experience has always been when you blend middle position (eliminating hum), you loose a noticeable amount of mids. Fretless bass tone thrives on mid freq IMHO!
