Not directly, no. But the post by @silky smoove which you do quote is itself a brief, summative quotation of @sunbeast, and thus it is to the latter's post that we must look for proper context and understandingI wasn’t quoting sunbeast
That’s apples and oranges. Analog synthesis where the bass is essentially only providing pitch and amplitude information is a very different thing than adding distortion to a bass signal. So just because the Stomp has like 30 distortion models but isn’t technically a distortion pedal, I shouldn’t compare what it can do vs. a Bass Big Muff?
Got mine no latency issue! Smooth sound generally just adapt your touch and bass EQ to maximize the output consistency.
It sounds like preset #1 on the green bank, aka the Thriller preset. Is that one of the presets?

Yes! The octaver kind of preset. Is that one of the presets?

That's the first greeen one, right?Yes! The octaver kind of preset.
This one is my own preset out of the default. The 3 shape wave helps widening the sounds
I personally found (and read from many others’ reviews) that adjusting the 5 to 4 string setting as well as global sensitivity is a must.I found it helpful to reset the unit to 4 string mode which helped correct the tracking issues I was having with some of the presets. I also tweaked the compression & output volume.
Yes you can do that. All the settings are saved per-presetI personally found (and read from many others’ reviews) that adjusting the 5 to 4 string setting as well as global sensitivity is a must.
Curious what you changed in the compression and output volume? Particularly output volume. I find a lot of the factory presets are way too loud, but some are perfect. I haven’t looked in the manual for this yet, but I’m hoping I can just tweak the output for each factory preset separately to even them all out.
So you can keep all the factory preset setting exactly as they come stock and just lower/adjust each individual output volume? That’s what I was hoping for.Yes you can do that. All the settings are saved per-preset
I believe so (I haven’t actually tried only adjusting one parameter like that, but have messed with just a few parameters on a preset and saved successfully). If you follow the preset save instructions in the manual you should be able to just change that one parameter then save it back to that slot. Even if it doesn’t work right you can factory reset just that one preset slot if you want (pretty cool feature!) and try again. So you can keep all the factory preset setting exactly as they come stock and just lower/adjust each individual output volume? That’s what I was hoping for.
Do check the manual…. It shows how to both set the Global output and individual presets. I evened out the presets then adjusted overall volume to match the bypassed output volume.I personally found (and read from many others’ reviews) that adjusting the 5 to 4 string setting as well as global sensitivity is a must.

You can have peace of mind about tweaking each individual output or any other voice or shape of a preset knowing you can easily restore it back to it’s original default whenever you choose. So you can keep all the factory preset setting exactly as they come stock and just lower/adjust each individual output volume? That’s what I was hoping for.
