Have you measured the voltage of the battery, even the new one? I would then check the battery circuit, the connector to the battery and the stereo socket for the jack, where the circuit is disconnected when removing the jack etc...

ADDING BALANCE / BLEND POT to MMSR? Dear colleagues, I have an older MMSR 3 Band 3 knob V/B/M/T (stacked knobs). Adding a j style single coil to the MM pickup, I would like to add a balance/blend pot... Any hints, experiences, what pot to use and how to connect? Thank you, Chris

Well the scale is normally 33 7/8", not 34. The difference is probably not a full inch, if you compare the bridge position to the knob on the right (the piezo knob) ... Mine is more like the 1 st picture... I remember having measured it to 860 mm...

Just a hint, don't try to straighten the neck only with the truss rod, try something (of course without or loose strings) like to "clamp" it on a straight plank and bring it slowly !!! more straight, then follow with the trussrod to hold it... Update: after allowing the Journeyman to get used to the new climate, over the weekend I relieved the truss rod, about 3/4 of one circle. Neck got straighter, better, almost perfect on G, D, the "bump" from the 12th fret on, join with the body, is of course still there... :-( . (Neck could...
