That would have to be a pain. I only thought of it because my lady is allergic to long hair dogs. Short hair, she can deal with. I think we are ALL allergic to our mother in laws at one point or another. A legit allergy is just icing on the cake. :roflmao:

Just to be devils advocate, I wonder how people with allergies deal with service animals on airlines? Think about being allergic to a dog and climb into a tin can that recirculates air only to see a dog on the flight. Then who gets catered to? The person with the allergies, or the service animals?

Gallien Krueger Club. GK Rules !

I'm not really the authority on speakers as far as knowing the specs on these speakers/cabs and what they can and cannot handle. I can say that when I was building sub enclosures for cars that each speaker has a finicky bit of airspace necessary for the drivers to operate correctly. Then each...

Do you use a GK Plex live?

Do you have access to a board in your rehearsal area? Run your chain in directly. If you have zero issues in the rehearsal area, it's not your chain. If you do have issues, start troubleshooting there. I always try to run my gear at rehearsal the same way it would be at a gig. This way there are...

Unfortunately for my back, I've been playing a 5 string OLP/MM purely for the way the strings "slap" the fretboard during triplets. I cannot reproduce that with my Schecter nor Fender no matter what adjustment I make OR what strings I put on them.

Yea, my dad switched from his Ric to a Raodstar II. I thought he was out of his mind at first. Turns out that it was a pound or 2 lighter and he was able to massage the sound to his desired taste.

    Ampeg SVT-4 Pro Issue

OK, I'm new to how finicky this amp can be. So I just sent it to the shop about 3 months ago. Somehow The power section fried. All fixed and got it back. No issues until this past weekend when I set it up for a show and noticed that the "decay" of the note would either result in a crackle OR it...

Don't need to be. My skills are barely mediocre and we, the band I'm in, just played with Magg Dylan on Saturday. They were impressed enough to record one of our songs for us, for FREE. Just need the right sound for your genre and a group good enough to make the mediocrity seem standard.

    Samick fretless upgrade

Unfortunately for you I went to a different setup. Pulled out all of the electronics and put a Geezer Butler P/J solderless set in it. Came with all the necessities. The pups cost me about 100. Everything fit nicely. Right now the bass is in pieces again because my guitarist is airbrushing it...

Good Morning folks. Been a while since I've been on. So busy lately with moving, shows, tracking, and getting the band headed in the right direction. We actually just played at Diggers Dungeon (home of Grave Digger and Dennis Anderson) with Magg Dylan. Never have my hands been so dang cold while...

    The Mediocre Bassist Club

Hey folks. Been a while. I've been BUSY getting things ready to go into the studio. Finally got my amps repaired and correctly. Sad thing is, I think I like the GK700 through the ampeg 810 better than the SVT-4. Now that everything is working correctly, I've noticed that I've been a bit sloppy...

Oh, I expect that. I have no illusions that I may receive something from them. If anything, it will be because I ordered one for myself, but not from the custom shop. I don't need a relic bass. I can do that on my own because I will actually play it.

    The Mediocre Bassist Club

Morning folks. So this morning I read an article where Fender Custom Shop gifted Jason Momoa a bass with two necks for his birthday. I politely tagged Fender in my post and let them know my birthday is soon and that I will be waiting by the door. I will let you guys know if I even get a card...
