Do I need a new amp?

Oh I did. I play in a hard rock band and even with a distortion/OD of some sort the BX500 just wont cut it :rollno:(I use a VT bass on top of the B200h for certain songs). I really like that natural clipping sound I get from the B200H.

Do I need a new amp?

Maybe you've heard of the huge sound G&L SB-1 or 2 pickups can produce already but did not believe this until I bought one for myself. I was running it through a Carvin BX500 but felt it was too clean sounding so I gave my old Acoustic B200H a try and wow, did I just make that red clipping light...

    U.S. Peavey Club

The finish on my maple fretboard Fury is awesome. Even my guitarrist who has never had a maple fretboard guitar, is now gas'ing for one (maple fretboard guitar). What does Peavey finish their boards with?

How many of you do your own electrical work?

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I will practice on my old dean with mile high action that fell apart by itself. What I don't know about is caps (I've never read into it). Are there caps that aren't applicable to electric instruments? What kind should I be looking for?

How many of you do your own electrical work?

I've never been to a repair shop in the U.S. How much is a fortune, approximately? This is a really simple fix, nothing worth more than 300 pesos!

How many of you do your own electrical work?

Well, one of my basses needs a volume pot replacement and I was looking for a decent welding kit. Then I realized that taking it to a repair shop would be cheaper. Taking into account that I'm broke and that I don't know how to do electrical work, would this be a good decision? I would like to...

Congratulations! Makes me reconsider going back to rosewood fretboards. Looks in great shape, too!

Strings that make ProSteels sound sluggish?

Yes! I've been cleaning them with alcohol and they even have this orange rust in between the windings. As soon as I first strung the ProSteels I could tell the main difference was that ProSteels have thicker windings. I think the stock string windings are a little bit lighter, thus allowing...

    No pickguard woes?

I heard you could also take the 'guard off of G&L JB-2's. Might be worth checking those next time.;)

Strings that make ProSteels sound sluggish?

The Peavey Fury I bought on ebay came with a set of awesome sounding strings. I never understood the term "piano tone" until I heard these strings; to me they literally sound like the lower register keys of a piano. I bought 2 sets of ProSteels from bassstringsonline thinking they would be in...

    Joining soccer?

Soccer? Where did that word come from? What is it even supposed to mean?:D Well, since you say you're fast, use it to make runs behind the defenders. Just don't get caught off side. Keep it simple. Moving towards space is great advice. Pass and move. Practice retaining the ball (not...

Local city just cut pay for all city employees to minimum wage...

Your colors are showing. I don't want to get political but funny you should mention his "spending into the ground" tactic. It was his administration that started this care free massive deficit spending habit, afterall. FWIW, I have no affiliation with the other party either. This whole...

Can YOU cop this tone? (Warning, Metal content)

You should've said metalcore warning... Anyway, as for your question, probably.

    Peavey T-40. Like em?

Don't like them. They look fatter than me.
