    Marshall or Fender rig? :-/

Unfortunately it's located in Sweden, and I'm in Canada. :meh: Cheers! :bassist::bassist::bassist:

    RIP Lemmy Kilmister

While I was in SoCal, for the NAMM Show, I spent a couple of weeks in L.A. The Rainbow is where I hang out when I'm there, and I was really looking forward to hanging with Lem as usual, but his sudden death prevented that. Naturally, I paid my respects at his spot in the Bow, and I visited his...

    RIP Lemmy Kilmister

I'll be there one week later... man, I still can't believe Lem's really gone... :(

    RIP Lemmy Kilmister

At a music store in Montreal, named Steve's Music a few years ago. Mine is signed by Lem. Man.... I still can't believe he's gone... :(

    RIP Lemmy Kilmister

I love that book. I read it front to back on the flight to L.A. a few years ago, and then bumped into Lemmy that night at the Rainbow, and he signed it for me. :) I'd be cranking out Motorhead tunes on my Ric 4001 plugged into my Lemmy sig head, but I am currently recovering from surgery to...

    RIP Lemmy Kilmister

At his spot at the Rainbow almost until the end... he may have only been diagnosed with cancer on the 26th, but I'm sure he had it for a while; certainly in this picture. It's painful to see such a powerful guy looking so frail... :( RIP Lem.

    Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister

There are a couple of threads going in the "Bassists" section.

    RIP Lemmy Kilmister

It will definitely be a strange vibe, at least at first. I know one thing: I will be having lots of shots of JD in his honour. Hope I can keep it together when I'm there...

    RIP Lemmy Kilmister

I'll be there in a few weeks. Be the first time that going to the Rainbow will be a sad event for me.... I'm still in a bit of shock that Lem's really gone...:crying:

    RIP Lemmy Kilmister

I am legitimately depressed about the passing of the single largest musical influence in my life. I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try... I was fortunate to meet, and party with, Lemmy numerous times over the years. He always remembered me, and was always funny, and totally down to earth. Never...

Does anybody just plug and play anymore?

For me, it's bass -> wireless -> amp -> cabs. (sometimes, I throw a flanger in the mix, though ;) ) Cheers! :bassist::bassist::bassist:

What was your first bass guitar?

First bass: 1976 Rickenbacker 4001, affectionately known as "Dirty Bastard!" (I still own her). My primary bass now: Custom handmade Moser Arachnid Ultra, affectionately known as "The Monster". Cheers! :bassist::bassist::bassist:

For those of you with more than two bass guitars, why?

    Because I can. ;) Cheers! :cool::cool::cool:

    One bass! Just One!

As of right now, this is an easy one: my custom handmade Moser Arachnid Ultra. Once I receive the second one, that is currently being built for me, it will be a challenge to decide which one. Likely, it would still be The Monster, since it's serial number 1. Cheers! :bassist::bassist::bassist:
