hey guys. New here. Been playin bass for about 18 years and still am a beginner cause all I do is show up and play for church! Sad I know and I need to practice and improve cause I do like playing but family, work and life get it the way.

Looking at it more is the thick white both ground (outside braided) and hot in the middle and that’s why there is only one wire from each pickup? I did slip a ground wire under the shielding and went to the back of a pot.

Well I ended up installing CTS 250k pots but since the switchcraft jack was too short i reused the old jack. I have no sound so I’m not sure where I screwed up. Used guitar electronics wiring diagram but am too tired to look at it tonight. Also added some copper shielding though not sure it...

Well I could always remove and re solder it all. Or take it somewhere and have a pro check it out haha.

I’ve looked at all the connections and they seem ok but I could be mistaken. No battery there though.

actually I feel like the top and middle knobs cut out a bit and I can't actually figure out which is volume control. Can I just replace all 3?

Got some flatwounds (first time using them so not sure what I think yet) and adjusted the crap outta this thing. @B-Mac can you tell me what the knobs control? Obviously the top is volume and then is there a pickup panner or tone control? The button knob makes the bass buzz like crazy though so...

Not sure about anything as I haven’t played it yet. Couple scuffs and scratches In it but everything else looks ok. Paid $150 for it though
