You have an oldy but goody! That is an earlier Dean from as early as 1997 and as late as 2000. So your bass is at least 22 years old and possibly as old as 25 years.

The 'Q' in Edge 4Q stands for quilt top, so it is not an Edge Q model. The '4' in Edge 4Q indicates it would be an active bass and yours does not appear to be active.

I have a collection of catalogs and can narrow it down for you if you take a picture of the back of the neck with S/N (or at least the first 3 characters of the S/N) at the headstock as well as a picture of the back of the bass body showing the neck connection and any back control plate(s) on the body.

Probably sold for around $420 back then based on a price list from 2000. That's around $760 today. Is it in decent shape? Everything works?
It's worth as much as anyone's willing to pay for it. It was made in South Korea at the 'World' Factory as designated by the 'E'. This later changed to 'W' and 'WK' around 2015 or so. This particular factory started making guitars and basses around 1994 and is still operational today and continues to be contracted with major guitar and bass brands.

Reminds me of my Martin B-1e

I didn’t know the markers and the pick guard weren’t stock. I really didn’t know much about them. It sure is huge! I’m 6’1” and I can barely reach the F on the 1st fret of the E string.
