It will be for recording, its actually gonna be my main recording mic.. so since my main instrument tends to be the upright im trying to get a mic thats good a recording upright bass but can also be good at recording the rest ... thx for your replies!

I figured Id try mixing the piranha with the neo drivers by buying the 4b and the 8b and mixing them with the m500 but I was wondering if that would be a turn down for one of the two cabs? btw phil hasnt replied yet :P must be very busy at the time

Well, everywhere I look on the net it says that the psa-120t is a regulated 9.6v DC power adapter.... I guess it is then. Obviously on the official website they say anything specific so you cant really be 100% sure it is regulated.. lol
