I play a passive Fender Jazz through a TF Bullhead .5K amp and a TF 210 cabinet. This set up is extremely powerful with more boom than you can imagine coming from a Jazz and the can easily fill up a room with 100 plus people. The sound can also be very punchy in the mix if/when you want it...

I believe you should go with the Rumble 40. It’s cheap and efficient. You can purchase a used one for less than $200. The sound (for that price) is incredible. Also, you can always upgrade from there if/when you want.
