Now that you mention it, I might have put a bit too much oil on the pickguard. I guess i'll just keep wiping it off and hoping it stops soon.

Yes, the case is pretty light! It also feels sturdy enough to put it in the trunk of a car and transport a bass with it.

When I just got it the pick guard was faded (dried out I guess), it was almost grey in some spots. So I put some lemon oil on that thing, waited a bit, wiped the excess oil off and repeated that a couple of times. It worked, it looks great now, but there is something weird going on, there...

It's an Ibanez case, it actually came with the bass. And here is a closeup, you can see the wood grain in this picture:

Hmmm, that sounds pretty promising, I also really like the styling on this one. I might go buy it in a couple of months, it triggered a serious GAS-attack on me. :help: I was also kind of looking for a new bass (preferably active), and this might be it.
