When I just got it (my ATK 800) the pick guard was faded (dried out I guess), it was almost grey in some spots. So I put some lemon oil on that thing, waited a bit, wiped the excess oil off and repeated that a couple of times.
It worked, it looks great now, but there is something weird going on, there are little spots of oil all over that thing, I can easily wipe them off, but they come back pretty quickly. It doesn't look like they come back in the same place, but I'm not sure about that.
Do you guys know what's happening, did I do something really stupid?
Now that you mention it, I might have put a bit too much oil on the pickguard. I guess i'll just keep wiping it off and hoping it stops soon.
