Hey gents, I was wonder if you Ibanez aficionados can help me out. I'm looking for an Ibanez 6 string bass with an arched rear of the body, arched pickups and monorail bridges, it's also neck through, I'm thinking its a prestige? I'm assuming its something they don't make any more. Does anybody know the model number?

So, Ibby brothers, help me out... I've been playing an SR400QM for the past 4 years (well, 3.5 since I sold it in December) and I loved it but the plan was to upgrade to an SR600. Due to some crazy stuff happening in life I hadn't replaced it but was going to either get one soon or maybe get a used Prestige.

However, I've also been gassing for a Spector the last year and although the plan was new SR600 or used Prestige, I came across a great deal on a mint 2010 Spector Rebop 4DLX which I jumped on. After having it for a few days, I'm really loving it - it just feels fantastic overall, much nicer than the SR400 in every way, and it should as it's a $1500 bass compared to a $449 bass.

Still... I miss my SR400QM AND I'm still gassing heavily for an SR600 or Prestige model. In fact, I'm gassing even more now for the Ibbys and wondering if I should just trade the Rebop for one or sell it. Or maybe just get the SR600 and keep both which right now is not a necessary expense and overkill as I'm not currently in a band/working musician situation where I'd need more than one bass (I also play guitar).

They are very different instruments sound and feel wise (though feel wise it's mostly the neck, both Ibby and Spector have smallish, well contoured, comfy bodies). And though I've only had the Spector for a few days, I already love it. But at the same time, I feel like I made a mistake not getting the Ibby.

It's silly really, I can get the Ibby later on but I'm sort of feeling a strange case of buyer's remorse. Or could I be feeling guilty of brand disloyalty? I need a shrink :hiding:

Hello. I would like to share my Ibanez SR506. Modified with a bone nut, ramp, black pickguard, a passive bypass switch and a custom designed Bass expander device for the barts mk1 preamp. :)

If there's a club number available, may I have one? Thanks a bunch. :)

What is the body shape? BTB or SR style?

If it's a SR it might by the 1006 NT or the 1206 NT.

Ah, a songbird then... ;)

Looks that way ;)

The lil fellows mamma was hopping all around the perimeter of the yard squawking like crazy. Prolly thought I was going to eat her lil guy. We were out of BBQ sauce though ;)

Was pretty strange tbh. Never had a bird do anything like that. My friend who took the pics misses the one with the bird on the neck of my bass :(
