jmceach, I use the standard "buttons" that Scott provided, during his builds in 2006. The front-top-body-button screw, has backed out, at times. Not a problem, as it's obvious before trouble. And if that is the only minor nitpicking inconvenience I can find in this incredibly sounding...

I could not agree with you more on your opinion regarding the reverse "P" config. I love my dual pickup, roundwound strung(SIT) cortobass. But if I try to get some very bright "ricky" sounds out of it (in all respects to Scot, never was intended to sound like one), the E and A strings sound...

That's a nice looking rig (as is chef's multi LDS 8s, and many others). Which pre do you prefer? The ART tube or the BBE ss? Or do you use them both (effects chain)? I'd imagine you are running the XLS in bridged mode for 1,050w into 8ohms? Again, Nice!
