Hello wonderful birdsong owners!
I'll be buying a new bass within a couple weeks, and I know (through lots and LOTS of gassing

) that a birdsong would be an incredible choice for me, but I definitely only have the money for one new bass of this quality, and I've never gotten to play one before!
I stoutly hold to the ideal that until I've held a bass in my hands, I can't really know if the two of us will get along, so I was wondering if there are any incredibly gracious bassist relatively close to New Lebanon, NY that would like to hang out for a couple hours, talk basses, and most importantly let me test run their cortobass (which I've decided, after talking to Scott, would definitely be the right birdsong for me out of all the choices).
I would be free anytime Feb. 12-20 (my college is on break then), or if you happen to be close to Long Island, I'll be down that way sometime Feb. 17-20 to try out another upstanding bassist instruments.
If you'd be free, PM me and I'll send you my number so we can talk in person.
Thank you so incredibly much to anyone who can give me a much needed hand, and I can't wait to hear from you.
-Chris
p.s. I would be more than happy to bring along some manner of baked goods as compensation, if you'd like...
