Awesome job!! Why do you need to have more than 3 coats of clear? When painting cars I only use 3 to 4 layers of Clear. Is this process different when painting a bass? I feel your pain with the clear coat issue you ran into. This last year My father and I repainted my 65 Chevy truck...

Just got the final pieces to my rig this weekend. I am really looking forward to my first band practice tomorrow with the completed setup. I plugged in the new GS112's and they sound very nice with the 700RBII. I think this rig will work nicely for me!!!

I am the new proud owner of 2 GS112's. I was able to sell my old gear and pick them up from a really nice guy on my local Craigslist. They are both in Excellent shape and even came with the covers. We are up at our family Cabin this weekend, so I had to buy them, stick them in my hallway...
