I'm running my 8ohm markbass through my hartke full stack which has two 8 ohm cabs. I'm wondering if this is safe because i dont want to mess up my head or my speakers.

I just switched to stainless steel strings and i love the sound they produce but my bass buzzes when i play it acoustically. I'm wondering if it's because my nuts are worn down since my bass have some wear and tear on it or if it's just the strings. Does anybody have any input on this?

thanks for all the input. I'm gonna start messing with my mid now during rehearsal. I only use stainless and never get lost in the mix. They have more punch and if you use the eq properly, you will be heard. What brand would you recommend to buy?

its passive pickups. I'm trying to get a tone like robert trujillo, frank bello sounding. The pickups are set up like the emg pj setup. I'm currently thinking about switching to stainless steel round strings to get a heavier sound too.

i use .110 or .115 GHS bass boomers or GHS stainless steel wound strings

Drop B tuning is B F# B E.... least thats what i use on my 4 string. But if u wanna go that low, u gotta buy the heaviest strings u can. The sound is so deep. I love it.
