Sorry to disagree, I have had my svt-3 for about 5 yrs. and slowly started to notice lack of tone, like my strings were dead or i needed to change the 9volts in my bass. I was constantly fudging with my eq and it did no good. I changed my tubes last week (all JJs) and it sounds 10x better now...

I was logging on here to ask about the same head and luckily this was the first thread in the ams forum :) I have done a lot of online research and watched the youtube videos and Im very interested. Im not trying to hijack your thread or anything but Im going mad trying to find a music store...

Thanks guys!! I was hoping it was a coincedence. Sucks that its not sounding great but on the bright side....Im getting new tubes! :D Ive been doing some research on those today and it looks like the JJ's are the way to go! Thanks for your input and reasurrance!

I have seen many mosts with people using a Svt3 and SansAmp together but not how they have it hooked up. I got a RBI about two weeks ago and I am using it as a driver through the effects loop on my ampeg and leave it on all the time...is this bad??? I do have the settings set on a "neutral...

Thanks for your responses! I have searched plenty on google prior to that post and really only found info about matching impedance, but I will give the tb search engine a shot and hopefully I will find what Im looking for.
