EB Slinky cobalt flats have roundwound underwrap the flat cobalt (see picture of an G string), in my experience its the most closer to a roundwound sound, it has some of the growl of a used nickel plated roundwound , the E string sound most focused than dadario chromes, at least for me

for me thomastik infeld superalloy, when this string loose the brightness , it sound awsome
