Sorry, I haven't been on in a while. I just wanted to close the loop with a follow up post to let everyone know that my amp was rapidly and expertly repaired under warranty. All my thanks go out to Andy! He even fixed the pretty blue lights! :hyper: I am so glad to have my Streamliner back...

I had a very sad day this past Sunday. During warm up with my church praise band, my faithful (since 7/2012) Streamliner 900 made a rather large pop (or crackle?) and went dead (a faint odor of fried electronics exuded from the fan holes). I have been hauling my one and only beloved amp back...

So tempting.... and I'm in Woodstock...

I got a Streamliner 900 and was eyeing the Max 9.2 as a backup or 18.2 possibility... still available?

I live in/near Atlanta. All I got is a GB Streamliner 900... wonder how that would sound through it? Am considering upgrading my GB Focus cabs to a CN212 Berg... But this could be a deal... :hmm:

Most informative thread... thanks, guys. As a new owner of a streamliner 900 (love it!), and being totally new to tube amps (love the sound), forgive the n00b questions: 1) Just how fragile are these tubes? Should I be carrying around spares, like I do for strings? Are these things fragile...

Don't need mil-spec, so this looks fine if it comes with diced foam... Thanks for the tip! Daryl btw, the amp is 12x11x3.25 roughly, so i figure the 18x13x6 would be just right. That might even work for a Max 9.2 down the road... :dreaming:
