I love the sound of both the SVP-CL and the PF, Im using the SVP-CL to add an extra layer of to already great sounding PF rather than using the PF as a poweramp.

Hi, Ive been running the SVP-CL into the front of the PF800 head and have a couple of questions. 1. Should the master on the SVP-CL be set higher than the master on the PF800 ? 2. Would it be better to run the SVP-CL into the effects loop on the head rather than the front ?

Thanks, im thinking of trying a combination of the Ampeg SVP-CL pre with the RBI, maybe ill find my perfect sound :) Got the 50hz filter on at the moment, seem to tighten the low end up in a really good way. What do you like about the PLX over the RMX ? Ive never tried a PLX

It was a standard speakon to jack. What would happen if I used a 2 pole speakon instead of a 4 pole?

I used jack to speakon from the pre to amp. I have an Ashdown 4x10 600watt and an Ashdown 1x15 600watt both 8ohms

Wouldnt having the 2 cabs daisy chained bring the load to 4ohm and 600watts or am I missing something ?

Im going to try the Behringer MDX1600, and see how I get on. I tried the Behringer Ultragain Pro 2200 rack mount I found it distorted even with relatively low input into it, I was suprised as I own the Behringer Ultragain 100 and it performed much better than the 2200.

The volume was actually lower with the TRS lead.

Would the Morley be a better option than the Beringer Tube preamp, for example less hiss ?
