I would get the M&V atlas 5 string p's. I love mine in my 4. And alllll of my basses are active and these passive p's sit right with them in volume and clarity.

Good advice also. Everyone colors them differently so double check indeed, give the other end a quick unscrew.

If you unscrew all the screws, usually there is a tiny +1, -1, +2, -2 written somewhere. But since the connector broke in half you'll just need a new one.
