Better then the Core's anyway...which has limited bass models...so that doesn't surprise me. I like the GT1B better then the Core for the same reason.

Ok, but you didn't really answer my question. WHY did you love it? Is it not the same modeling in both units? Is it because you were using two modeled preamps in series or something?

Isn't the preamp section basically the same as the that on the Core? I don't understand the reason why you're choosing to run through the preamp of the Katana instead of just doing it all in the core with a more simple configuration and setup. Maybe it has more models to choose from then the...
