Well I pulled the trigger on a used 110 as I’ve read great comparisons to the rumble 100 which I think is a decent amp. The Bluetooth module is out of stock and I don’t have a computer but that’s not my primary focus right now. I haven’t had a bass amp since I sold my GK rig years ago

Boss Katana Bass ...

I ordered the amp on Thursday and it was waiting for me at home when I got off work Friday. I’m liking it a lot. I played using the 1 watt setting and turned down low, but switched to headphones when my spouse went to bed. It’s a lot of fun and I really like the modern amp emulation with my five string schecter raiden

I haven’t thought about a price yet. It will be in accessories and I have 4 available. All brand new. It should be up in a few hours.
So I got a chance take a closer look at the preamp section of the Katana 210, and it would definitely hold its own tone wise, against anything I’ve owned. So much so that I am now running the CORE into the 210 using the 4cm. Amazing! This thing will easily handle any gig I’m doing right now. And sound good doing it!
The AB power amp definitely feels different to me than digital, and makes the 48lbs worth it, at least for me. It just has a grunt to it when you dig in that digital (IMESHO) doesn’t have. The K210 is a win all the way around, at least for me.

I picked up a Bluetooth unit for my 210, and the added edit ability that this adds, makes this amp a true winner. I really don’t think there’s a tone you couldn’t pull out of this thing. And it is loud!
Yeah I got the bt adapter and couldn’t use it before an update to the amp’s firmware. Updating it feels like a process from the 90s or something.
After the update I was able to connect easily and I’m enjoying all the extra editing I can do with it, but I’m the amp sounds so good without any effects and serious editing so I’m not sure how much I’ll actually use it.
I will say it’s quite odd that the dials don’t move when the software dials do or when loading a preset, which kind of forces me to use the App for adjustments instead of the hardware dials

Isn't the preamp section basically the same as the that on the Core? I don't understand the reason why you're choosing to run through the preamp of the Katana instead of just doing it all in the core with a more simple configuration and setup.
Maybe it has more models to choose from then the core?
I am considering the Katana, in no small part due to your recommendations here. I need something to gig with. I would probably use it with my GT1B which has more models then the Core and possibly maybe might be duplicitous to what is in the katana...but does have the advantage of more presets.

I’ve tried the CORE into the Power Amp in on 210, and loved it. Then I went straight into the 210 and found a tone I loved. Then I tried the 4cm and man oh man! Not sure what it is, but it’s a winner! YMMV, but either way you run it you will be able to find your tone in there somewhere. I did.
No, just the one pre on the Katana. Maybe it’s because it’s real interaction between a pre amp, a power amp, and real speakers and not a simulation of said. It just has a a heft to it that the other set up doesn’t quite have. It’s really close but it just feel different.
