Yeah, I did some research though the forums here and I put foam inside the springs. It seems to have solved the issue. I tryed to get the actual foam from a local shop and remove the springs altogether but nobody had any in stock Thanks for replying. I wasn't about to buy new pickups

It doesn't. the ashtrays look cool and I was just curious. I'm probably not going to do it. And by amazing I mean it's playability, it's feels nice in my hands. It's tone is ok and the tuning machines are garbage. It's just a stock mexi bass.
