    I can’t believe some of the responses answering absolutely no. Obviously the venue/setting matters, but if it’s for your cover band outside, why are you taking yourselves so seriously? The music should matter more. Be comfortable.

    Congrats on the upgrade. I also did the same upgrade from a Squier VM to GL Jazz Bass. Mine is a 2013 MIM, and it plays like a dream. I love the thinner neck.

    If they can't park their car into a parking spot, they shouldn't be driving on their own yet. A turn at an intersection is the exact same thing.
