I was told by the GC manager yesterday that the supply of instruments has really been interrupted by Covid 19 and the selection of used stuff was really bad they had on used PBass in the bass section.

They Guitar center has had some good used stuff at the price you can get your money back out of it when you sell it.

The reason you had to lie is what you need to look at. It's never good to lie because it will be in the back of your mind forever. I use my own money for musical purchases and my wife never has anything to say except do you really need it. I have 14 basses I needed. I love them all so I do need...

I think if you feel up to playing then you should do it. I started bass at 43 in 1996 and love it. I played the drums from age 14 and it was hard on my shoulder and lower back so switched to bass. Not to mention it's good for your brain and thats a fact. Go for it!!

As far as short scales I love my Lakeland HB-30 nice and light and I think it sounds good.

I bought some gloves and they lasted 10 hrs before the index finger formed a small hole. When my hands get sweaty they really help.

I have had several G&L USA L2000's and I like the 44-01 Lakland better. I feel it's like a swiss army knife of basses. Heavy but worth it. Just my opinion.

I sure like the RotoSound 77's Jazz 45-105 and I'm not a big fan of flatwounds but they sound good!!

I have a Fender Prophecy One/ Heartfield bass MIJ that is basswood and I like the unique sound. Was $178.00 so cheap but kinda cool sounding and not sounding like any of my other basses which are swamp ash, alder,mahogany and maple bodies. Just a bright unique sound....kinda cool!!

You know what i do is break some toothpicks in half and put the fat end in first and put screws back in and like you say also use a little glue in there. Works great!

I want to get a Chowny SW1 and the shipping is reasonable (posted on the shopping cart) but what added fees can I expect when it get to my doorstep? England to Arizona I don't want any big surprises. Help!!
