I just picked up a Peavy T40 that needs some care. It's crusty in a lot of spots. Didn't think much about it until I snapped off a couple of bridge intonation screws. Does anyone have advice on how to get them out of the saddle? One side is flush with the saddle and the part sticking out is...

I just picked up a 1964 Fender precision bass. A small edge of my pickguard cracked off right in the middle where the screw goes through. Can I put it back on with super glue? What the best way? Thanks!

I'm so excited to finally have an old P bass. It's been a long journey for me getting one. The pots are from 1966 but I've heard that is common. It's a B neck which works for my hand size. The tone and feel blow me away. Very controlled sound with less errant noises. Here are some pics.

I cut the pickup wire and measured reading 1k. So that probably is a bad coil wire right? Do I need to buy matching pickups or can replace with something else? What's a good pickup for this bass? Thanks all.
