1970 Fender Precision

I'm so excited to finally have an old P bass. It's been a long journey for me getting one. The pots are from 1966 but I've heard that is common. It's a B neck which works for my hand size. The tone and feel blow me away. Very controlled sound with less errant noises. Here are some pics.

The top finish is in emasculate condition. I owned a 69 new and mine wasn’t nearly as pretty.

Lovely, just what a P should be. I have a 1971 that originally was black, but it has just gotten to be too heavy for long stands-up sets. Other than that, it is a great bass.

I had a '69 like that as well, but I stupidly stripped because at that time was just an old bass.
