    I have a kustom 300hd head that has bad high frequency hiss. I was sold a replacement for the 12ax7 but now I realize the tube is marked ecc832 which is 12dw7? Can I use it?

    Squier VM Mustang Project...Pic Heavy

    Great project. Thinking of modding my mustang the same way. Would be my first mod--any newbie advice or recommended threads? I have had trouble tuning and intonating flats--looks like these strings have no silks at the headstock and might even be tapered? What brand are you using?
