He did a preview of the "propagation" earlier in this thread which was like a deluxe UA/elementary combo with a tone stack toggle. I'm guessing that's replacing both of the originals if he removed them, but I'm surprised he'd retire the normal UA.

Oh man... Get the handwired or wait for the deluxe/propagation...?

Biggest difference is Mayday has an active EQ vs passive in the slampegg. Really just personal taste there on how much EQ fiddling you do, and if you want to boost mids.

It's so small that I'm scared to use it as an actual pedal, best as an always-on in my opinion (in my case scooping out low-mids). No noise at all, but it does flip your signal's phase so just have to be aware of that. Imagine the custom LEDs were a headache to build around.

I know he really likes putting the purple LEDs in them but I feel like the green ones just pop

    SVT-3 PRO Volume

I think a lot of the responses here are missing that you're in a hardcore band playing with Speed, so I totally see how you could potentially run out of volume. That being said, I think your farting out problems are more EQ related. The Bass knob is at 50Hz and so you're boosting a bunch of...

I'd try replacing each / both tubes first if you have some extras on hand, otherwise I'd probably just email Mr. Sushi.

With the bass cut toggle off it's the same frequency response as the old version, 100% great for bass. I didn't find the bass cut super useful on bass, but it definitely improves it for guitar.

Boring?? Elementary/UA in one pedal on a toggle might be an instant buy for me. Sounds like a smart revision of the "deluxe" versions you teased before.

Pre + echo in an, e.g., echoplex vein? Lots of knobs and switches. I'm also curious about the headphone amplifier he mentioned in a FB comment on that thread..... 👀

Idk, an always-on tube buffer in a tuner (think boss tuner with a tube) would solve many of the world's small pedal boards with limited space's problems. It could be called the "tuber".

There's a trim pot inside if you need extra volume, can be helpful if you're running it with the EQ on and with a 12AU7. (This was the older versions anyway, I think the new redesign has a toggle or something inside of a trim pot?)

Looks like Dethklok has a Finally running for bass:

Is it possible: Apply different distortion levels to different bands w/o splitting them then running them through separate gain/distortion circuits?

There's a few pedals that do this. Off the top of my head, Death By Audio's Crossover Fuzz, VFE's Triumvirate, and Source Audio Ultrawave.

    Korn Right Now

Never really thought of that perspective on his tone before, that mid-range real estate he leaves open must be nice for mixing.
