There was a time we could get custom colors and request LED candy flavor from @Sushi Box FX. I am fond of those times.
That NanoPara is really cute, had not seen one before.
It's a killer little pedal.
I realized that half of the magic of the DCX bass is the big broad high frequency boost that brightens up everything downstream - really wakes up drives and such. I got really attached to that particular brightness that no other drive really offers in their tone controls. But I wanted to try some other low-gain drives...
So I've got a nanoPara stuck up under my board, one of the first pedals in the chain, with a big wide boost right around 5.5k to duplicate that effect - it's pretty trick. The rest of the EQ sculpting happens near the end of the chain with the Bass ParaEQ.
Also great to have a a little clean boost with the option for a mid or treble bump to stand out, or a utility to have a way to notch out a bad frequency in a room.
It's so small that I'm scared to use it as an actual pedal, best as an always-on in my opinion (in my case scooping out low-mids). No noise at all, but it does flip your signal's phase so just have to be aware of that.

Back then pedals were pretty much built to order, this was before the line was standardized by using boxes done by a supplier and sales were for stock opn hand. Custom colors, laser etching, optional art designs and led candy flavors were all options when ordering.
I have pedals in Candy Red, Candy Blue, Prismatic Cosmos, Super Black and a bare nekkid prototype and a few that are laser etched in my Sushi Box collection as well as different artwork on many older designs like Underground Accelerator & More. Another odd variant that crops up are the "Hand Wired" versions he offered for a while, I have an UnderGround Accelerator that is HW. His current offereings incorporate and improve so that HW option is redundant and I really want to add one of the current Underground Accelerators to my collection but am trying to convince myself that 3 UA pedals is not too many.

I fully agree! Of course Nathan could also use his website for general information (as he did years ago) and on product ideas or the like but it would surely lack the discussion we are so used to...
The website "Recent Announcements" for instance. That's been out of commission for some time now.
@Michael Vee & @OldShark Nathan does plan to return to TB soon.
With tube equipment: The first and obvious check is to see if the heater elements in both tubes is glowing. Since you have the lid off thats easy to verify, plug it back in and turn off the lights in your room. Turn the LED/footswitch off, the heater elements run 100% of the time.
And of course check the solder joints & wires going to all of the jacks.

My experience as well. I had Finally, More, & Neptunium all at the same time. The Finally even with a 12AU7 still had the most 'hair' of all three.Yes, it is exactly what I was after. I was torn between the Finally and the More. I may still add a More before the punchlineThe Finally adds just a bit of tubey goodness and the HPF helps in FOH.
Not Mullard, but my Finally v1 has a 1957 RCA 12AU7. Sounds wonderful.

You can find him on a popular pedal builders forum pretty easily, where I'm sure he'll keep an ongoing presence since he's had a subforum there for years.

I got bad eyes and try to use the same color knobs on stuff I use whenever I can, like green for gain, blue for blend, white for output volume (nathan used silver on _the watt_ box though)...
for this compressor I find slower attack and quicker release helps plus eleven o'clock blend and higher threshold helps w/the slam w/gig sitchs. remember the bergantino forte ultra amp has bof hpf and lpf adjusts so that's why I got in minimal w/nathan's box. maybe he can tell you what that is in hz cuz I forgot like an idiot, sorry.
I always check my settings when I set his box up cuz I use the pouch on the bergantino amp purse to carry it - I don't use a peal board so it fits but knobs seem to get moved. also, I can't see the white pointer lines on _the watt_ knobs so well unless I hold the box right up on my face, again: bad eyes.
