Honestly my dude, I have no idea. There are a couple brand new things swimming around, but nothing tangible enough to talk about yet. Propagation needs more work, I decided I'm not happy enough with it yet. Gondwana worked perfectly once and I haven't been able to replicate it, so I'm working with some people smarter than me to try to resolve that. A working Gondwana design will open the door to a lot of cool things I can implement together with other devices. Also had a nice conversation with Phil Mann yesterday about something he thought would be cool, but haven't built anything yet.

So there's always something happening, but as for which one is actually coming next, I have no idea.

I would love to see what some Sushi flavor would do to a EHX Tube Zipper type pedal, naturally I would be happy with one either as a Sushi Box pedal or a C2CE project.
It would be fantastic if it had a tone switch for Bass and Lead since I dip my toes in both ponds.

Good choice, Mike. Cheaper than a Truetone 1 Spot, and probably just as, or more, reliable. I had a 1 Spot go out on me a while back after very light use.

OK, I have to be doing something wrong and I need your advice.
I picked up a Smoke Signals Preamp and am running into the return of my GK 400RB.
Even with the pedal and amp knobs cranked I am not getting much in the way volume. I do like what I am hearing, but it's just not pushing out volume.
I did make sure that I am outputting line level, the boost on the GK is dimed, I cleaned the return socket with contact cleaner, and I swapped in new tubes but got the same result.

Any ideas?

Sweet! That makes me completely happy with what I have, which is great. Thank you for the settings, I think I found them on a facebook page. They were great to give me a start, and I think the only thing I changed was a little hpf depending which bass I’m using and the attack a little slower. Mmmm, the blend a little more and the release a little less. But whatever! Ok, do you find that the knob color helps you reach for the right thing quicker? I only touch stuff because the settings get screwed up in transit and setup. If not, I’ll just put what I think looks cool. The Watt is the perfect pedal if you want just one. Everything I would want.

Is it even possible in pedal format?

Ok, do you find that the knob color helps you reach for the right thing quicker?

Mike requested that on his unit, he said when he's onstage he doesn't want to have to squint to look at labels, so he color codes everything. You may not need to adjust anything, but it's good to have just in case. I was thinking about offering color coded knobs as an option on the Watt, but decided against it because I knew it would be annoying to do a lot of.

As a side note, I love being able to say "these are the settings Mike freaking Watt uses onstage".

What can't Nathan do?

It is a very long list.

But if we're specifically talking about weird tube circuits the list gets a little bit shorter.

The only tricky thing about an all-tube harmonic tremolo like the original Fender is that you need three tubes to do it. Not the end of the world, but the number of components would make it a bit larger than most pedals

The only tricky thing about an all-tube harmonic tremolo like the original Fender is that you need three tubes to do it. Not the end of the world, but the number of components would make it a bit larger than most pedals

So, does anyone like the tremolo that comes out of the Magnatone amps? Those are tube and varistor pitch shifting types. I have the Maggie pedal from BigToneMusicBrewery, which is pretty close but difficult to find. The varistors were unavailable for a while, but are available again. The story goes that Leo tried to duplicate that sound, but couldn’t, and wound up with something different. There are a lot of pedals that do the amplitude shifting thing very well; it’s a matter of what you like. There are harmonic tremolo pedals out there too.

I recently got a Slampegg Bee X here on TB and still have the Neptunium and Finally.

The Slampegg Bee is really amazing. It has a lot of gain on tap, and it breaks up really nicely even at higher gain levels than a B15 would do.

The tone shaping is also cool and with the Finally v3 or other hpf, it sounds very fat and warm.

I agree…the Slampegg Bee into a Finally is fantastic. Really really good. I sold both recently (stupidly) and now working to get that exact combo back. Rebought a Bee, now waiting on a V3. I had a V2 previously. Was looking at the Mayday, but I think I’d use the variable hpf more in the V3 as opposed to the eq in the Mayday. I think…

The transformer is for the preamp. The Supro tremolo sounds great but it does alter the base tone
