I love them. Best strings I've ever played. And that has been for over 5 decades. But some folks say they can't deal with the cost. All I can say is , they are the best I've ever played in over 5 decades. Slick feeling, harmonic capable. And don't grunge up like other strings

I still use Lok-Tite Blue on the threads of mine. But all my Straps use them. No complaints.

I have found that using different strings can sometimes change the intonation on all my basses. Meaning going to different style string and / or different gauge string. All of my basses (fretted and fretless) have an intonation adjustable bridge, except for my double bass. Maybe I'm crazy, but...

Beats me. To each his own. But I can move the bridge on my upright slightly forward or back and even tilt, I can adjust height by shimming or sanding. But that's just me. No need to keep

My upright can have some minor adjustment of the bridge if necessary, albeit much harder to do. I've got gut strings on it. But there is no way to move the neck, without major expense.

I threw away all picks the summer of my 9th grade when I was 15 or 16. That was well over 50 years ago. Been using fingers and thumb ever since. Works for me.

Beats me. I've never pulled the bridge off my USA and compared to my Euro. (Euro has the rounded aluminum plated bridge). But that would be a good question for Spector mfg.

Could be all the gold on USA NS2s and NS4s are done that way. Probably all part of the difference in price. I have 4 USA NS4 Spectors. They are really a cut above others I've had and played.
