I had an esp/ltd F-255FM that I hated. The woods looked nice, the neck was comfortable but I had to correct the bow weekly, the hardware was kind of crappy, and it was heavier than hell. For a $500 bass I was very disapointed. I now own two ibanez's....

I just soldered a new jack on my sr400. The output is very weak, and the preamp does nothing. I can hear cycle hum over the pickup output on the amp. I also sprayed the preamp with electronic cleaner to clean out the pots. Any idea what I did wrong? Thanks in advance.
