Albums featuring bass guitar and one other instrument?

Not bass guitar but I’d offer this up (as well as his Trios, if you want to go that far).

I bought Victor Wooten's Banjo Bass - (Nate Navarro)

If you like that, you’d probably love @Bruce Johnson ’s Banjozilla.

    The Rickenbacker Club Part Twelve

That greenglo is definitely my favorite so far.

New tip jar. Hope it’s a lucky one!

Our band is somewhat old (at 65, I’m the second youngest!); I’m not sure any of us can accept Venmo or Apple Pay!

New tip jar. Hope it’s a lucky one!

That is almost verbatim our tip jar.

    The Rickenbacker Club Part Twelve

Had an “interesting” (in the Chinese curse sense) sonic experience on Saturday night. We played a nice venue, basically an art gallery with an outdoor terraced space set up as an amphitheater. Band was set up in a barn with the doors wide open, so essentially one whole side of the building wide...

    Peavy T40 from 1981 help

PB Blaster is good stuff, Kroil is better—if you can find it, I’ve never seen it on a shelf. But testing has shown the most effective penetrating fluid to be a homebrew mix, 50-50 acetone and ATF. Unfortunately they don’t mix together, so you have to shake it up before using.

    Legos?

I’m not so much into Legos, but my 24-year-old son has been for most of his life and remains so. The one Lego piece I really wanted was the bagpiper minifig, which I finally found at a less-than-extortionate price this year. Here you can see the minifig, a Vespa kit my son gave me for Christmas...

    Official Ampeg Portaflex Club

I didn’t even consider until your post that my ‘66 Ampeg AUB-1 turns 60 this year. (Not so for the ‘72 B-15S.)

NBD: 1974 Rickenbacker 4001 with questions for the experts (Pic heavy!)

Isn’t the second edition just an update, and everything in the first edition is also in the second, plus some?

NBD: 1974 Rickenbacker 4001 with questions for the experts (Pic heavy!)

It’s hard to imagine them being so tight that they’d shear, but there’s a first time for everything, I suppose. Is it possible they turned it the wrong way? What I would do would be to put some leather around it so you don’t mar it, and use pliers to just slightly turn it each way and see if it...

NBD: 1974 Rickenbacker 4001 with questions for the experts (Pic heavy!)

Do you mean the ones that come stock on Rick’s in recent years? I just tighten them by hand. If I want a little more grip I’ll use a piece of rubber shelf liner. But first, on the advice of a Ric customer service guy, I first put a drop or two of CA glue down the hole. I have not had any issues...

    The Rickenbacker Club Part Twelve

For me, black leather works in all cases. Except for my Dan Armstrong/Ampeg See Through, for which I have a clear vinyl strap.

Template And Fixture Set For A New Design EUB Neck

Speaking from a perspective of absolute lack of knowledge, I’m curious about how you are dealing with relief. Will you have a truss rod (will the neck flex at all?), or will you be building in some scoop? I have a Stagg EUB, it has a truss rod that seems to have absolutely no effect whatsoever...
