Legos?

Definitely grew up with them, the Technics were awesome. Fast forward, I'm a car guy, my wife got me the 911 for Christmas.
😍 It was so much fun to build, resparked my love for them. Then I found the same car in Gulf Oil livery on AliExpress. 😍😍

I’m not so much into Legos, but my 24-year-old son has been for most of his life and remains so. The one Lego piece I really wanted was the bagpiper minifig, which I finally found at a less-than-extortionate price this year. Here you can see the minifig, a Vespa kit my son gave me for Christmas about five years ago, a couple of commemorative blocks from Lego vests I took him to when he was much younger, and another random minifig.

He also got me the Lego Modern Art set a couple of years ago, and I really need to crack it open and put it together. He got my partner the parrot set.

Got a couple Rubbermaid tubs full in my parents' garage for when my nephew is a little older. All 80s/90s stuff. At one point I had a binder full of manuals (my dad was an engineer at the time; not my organization). Be cool if I still had them. I do have a Lightening McQueen thing to build wirh my nephew next time I'm up there but it'll be more me trying to get him to put pieces in and them him playing with it. I don't think a 2.75yo is doing 270 pieces of anything.

Played with Lego with my brother all the time as kids. We had quite the collection covering alot of the themes at the time, and a ton of loose bricks.

My daughter received a kit as a birthday present a couple years ago and I found I still really like them!

Retrieved my old collection from my parents house and have added to it a bit. My favorite display piece is the Balrog Book Nook set which lives proudly on my desk.

Even managed to get my wife kinda into it...she has a few sets of her own on display 😆

I have most of mine from my childhood. My mom was an absolute gem and disassembled most of them and placed them in separate ziplock bags with their instructions so I can eventually give them to my kids. I also have several bins of loose pieces. My brother got me the Fender Strat kit for Christmas a couple years back but I still have yet to build it.
