I was joking about the Datsun. I had a ute that was the last year of Datsun before they became Nissan. I miss that car, except for the noise, rust, and repairs every year. It had a great stereo too; the best part of that bomb was the stereo.....

^^^^ I hate gum too Jimmy, but recently I bought DVD of Level 42, and Mark King chewed gum all the way through the video....go to wo. I'm guessing it was nicotene chewy or some stress relief type gum. Any way, if Mark can do it, it can't be THAT bad? Can it?

I would concur with your analysis of the situation. Buy the amp a fan. It will reward you with faultless service for many years, if you do. Funk on........FenderFunker...Australia.

I am in the same situation. For 18 months, my funk/dance band gigged and picked up fans, like the proverbial 'rolling stone'. Anyway, nothing lasts forever and I had a great time while it lasted. First person to resign was the sax player, after an altercation regarding his foldback/monitor...

I have a power amp that also has NO fan. To compensate, I built a fan into a board that attaches to the back of the rack. This fan plugs into the plugboard that all the amps, pre-amp and effects plug into. Plenty of cross flow, everything stays cool, and no problems so far. Good luck, it ain't...

I can understand your concerns, but by far, the biggest thing is that you get this/a bass and learn to play it to the best of your ability. I don't think you are being dumb, just insecure. I doubt Sadowsky have put out a 'bad' bass, so you can't really go wrong. ATB. Lee

More pics would be very helpful. Obviously Gibson inspired. Yes to 70's Japan. Maybe an 'Aria' or the like?? Looks like one to keep next to the lounge for when the ads come on.
